More of my Painted Robot Legions
Here are a few more of the painted Robot Legions army I’ve completed. This is actually the first army I’ve successfully painted. There are only a couple of the large vehicles to go. More pictures to come.
Back in the Swing of Things
It’s been a long time since I’ve posted anything here. Originally this was meant to be a way to not necessarily reach people, but a way to get myself to paint minis.
I have a ton of Kickstarters, but I’ve been absolutely terrible at painting them, doing awhole “I’ll paint that model when I get better at painting” thing, not wanting to mess up awesome sculpts. When I say a ton, I really mean a lot. The whole Kickstarter thing in and of itself became something of a FOMO trap.

The thing that has got me back into painting has been 3D printing. I’ve always been fascinated by the technology and bought myself an Elegoo Mars 2 Pro. After playing around with it for a year, I enjoy the whole process.
I don’t know why I feel more “free” painting 3D printed minis. Perhaps in the back of my mind it’s that if I make a complete mess of one, it’s easy to just print another.
Anyhow, more to come. I’ve got plenty more painted.
Long Time, No Post
I hadn’t realised how long it had been since I posted, over 2 years. I’ve been meaning to upload a few images of miniatures painted recently, but then again, one reason for posting is the lack of miniatures I’ve painted. Lack of time, energy and illness kind of put paid to the whole project of getting back into gaming and starting/continuing this blog.
Anyhow, here’s a photo of a Texaco Marshall from the MERCS Kickstarter a while ago.

Paint Like a Pirate
So I got the Rum & Bones Kickstarter a couple of weeks ago and figured I’d paint a few of the models up for “Talk Like a Pirate Day”. Here’s the Wellsport Brotherhood boson and a couple of deckhands from the box set.
It’s Been a While Again
So it’s been a while again since my last post (since my Wrath of Kings stuff came in). I still haven’t painted much of that. Been working on a few different things here and there as I get time. Here’s one, the Student of Conflict from the Malifaux Hired Sword’s crew. I can see why I might need to use a few more shades

Wrath of Kings
The “one of everything” Wrath of Kings Kickstarter finally arrived. From what I’ve seen of the models so far (from checking the contents of the white Kickstarter extras boxes), the quality is excellent and the sculpts are awesome. When I finally get round to them I hope I can do them justice,
So many models to paint now. I’ll think these will be on the back burner until I’ve finished painting my Viktorias crew, some more Menoth and finished some more of the Super Dungeon Explore base game.

Vanessa, Treasure Hunter
So my first Malifaux figure. I’ve had this model for a while. I’m quite pleased with the results on this one. I really like the detail on the Malifaux plastics. Painted this one before painting my Hired Swords crew.
Super Dungeon Explore
I’ve had Super Dungeon Explore for a while. Here’s the first batch of minis I’ve painted. Just the beginning of another big project. To put it mildly, since getting back into the hobby, I’ve gone a bit “mental”. Backed probably too many Kickstarters and bought too many board games and miniatures. I just can’t pass great sculpts and cool ideas by. The hobby has certainly grown so much since I was last part of it.
